Graduate Studies in Psychology at SFU

The Psychology Department offers 2 graduate programs leading to MA and PhD degrees. 

1. The Psychology Graduate Program offers specializations in one of the following 5 Research Areas:

2. The Clinical Psychology Graduate Program offers training under one of the following 4 options:

  • General Clinical
  • Clinical-Child
  • Clinical-Neuropsychology
  • Clinical-Forensic

Our graduate programs are oriented toward a PhD degree. (Those seeking only a Masters degree are discouraged from applying.) Students with Bachelor degrees must submit their applications to the MA program.

**NEW** Graduate Program Applicants: if your transcript does not clearly state your CGPA (cumulative grade point average), please convert your grades using one of the following:

1) letter grade to CGPA converter

2) percentage grade to CGPA converter
